East Sussex Building Control is a Partnership organisation of four local authorities, covering Eastbourne and Hastings Boroughs, and Rother and Wealden Districts.
By providing a shared service over multiple authorities, customers working across the region can utilise a single point of contact for Building Regulations queries and applications, and expect a greater degree of consistency in service.
We aim to work with and alongside property owners, architects, engineers, builders and developers to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations.

Emailed inspection requests require “INSPECTION REQUEST” to be clearly stated in the email subject. If this is not stated clearly then the email will be subject to our standard email turn around and your inspection request may be subject to delay.

If you are a builder working with an architect we will make sure wherever we can that plans have been fully checked prior to a start on site, and if this is not possible we urge you to keep in regular contact with us to avoid any issues.
